The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
